Issues

Cameroon has important geological potential. Its subsoil conceals important mineralizations. The exploration and exploitation of these mineral resources for the purpose of economic growth and development of the country requires a good geological study.  BEIG3, therefore, plays a major role in the sustainable development of the country through mineral exploration.  We examine, evaluate, design, and implement exploration programs in order to provide adequate solutions to major geological problems while respecting budgetary constraints related to exploration.  Our geological engineers have an in-depth knowledge of the mechanisms of formation and distribution of deposits under a wide range of geological and tectonic parameters. We offer a wide range of services including, but not limited to, target generation, field mapping and analysis, remote sensing and geophysics, geochemistry, drilling and logging, mineral exploration system modeling, project management, audits and evaluations, exploration strategy, and advice to government agencies.  We ensure proper application and interpretation of local geology, geochemistry (surface and subsurface), and geophysics to generate and test exploration targets.   BEIG3 has been awarded 6 mining exploration permits of 1000 km2 each and its development is done within the framework of agreements signed with its foreign partners who provide more substantial financial and technical support.

Some of our achievements

  BEIG3 provides representation and advice to mining companies. Its experts have promoted the strengthening of structures and the setting up of mining companies, thereby contributing to the strengthening of knowledge on the mining potential throughout Cameroon. This has led to the development of the landlocked sectors of the territory.  The geological mapping work has made it possible to characterize the geological structures in the Bibemi, Wapouze and SO'O permits and to establish geological maps (Bibemi, Wapouze).
